Lol, yeah, we have been close friends for a number of years. He has been our source of entertainment for a long time. My older two are freaky possessive of him and were a bit irritated that he married Amy instead of his previous girlfriend Jordan, I think mostly because she made him cut the mullet! He should be in town soon, since they are going on vacay with us. I'll let ya know if he gets in a couple days before we all leave and I'll have him bring ya a jersey.

1. I met my DH online when I was 17 and he was 24. We "dated" for a year then didn't talk for 3 years and then we re-met, started dating and got married.

2. I'm the tallest girl in the family and I HATE it!

3. I am allergic to pineapples and kiwi :/

4. I'm deathly afraid of the ocean, not beaches, but being out on the ocean.

5. My confirmation name is Felicity.

1. I hate velvet, velour, microfiber, suede type textures. They make my skin crawl...to the point of we have a microfiber couch because it is easy to clean but I sit on a blanket because I can't stand it against my skin.

2. I really REALLY wanted to be a doctor. Neurosurgeon to be exact. I knew it at 14, but couldn't get the funding for school. I secretly wish I could figure out how to make it work.

3. I met my significant other online (we aren't actually married because he had bad credit and I didn't and I've been there done that and bought the divorce and now it just seems silly to do) playing a mafia game in jail. He offered my a blanket lol.

4. My grandfather apprenticed with Henry Ford at 12 and was a tool designer for Chrysler.

5. My great uncle worked on the Manhattan project and taught physics at UC Berkeley.

OMG, my I am dying here! DH and I LOVE him!!!! DH was born a Vikings fan and when I told him a gal from the message board knew a DE for the Vikings he wondered if it was Jared Allen. He will die when I tell him! So cool! You probably don't think it is all that special, but we LOVE him here in MN!!!!

BTW tell him to bring back that mullet! I think that is 90% the reason why he didn't do as well last season!

LOL! Yeah, that is partially why DS1 is bitter at his wife, she made him cut it for the wedding. He has had that thing FOREVER and was sooo superstitious about it. DS1 is convinced that's why they did so badly, that ,and he thinks Brett Favre's wife is a jinx and has jinxed the Vikings forever. All the kids called her Skeletor behind her back because of all her face lifts!! DD2 is actually afraid of her and wouldn't ever sit by her at games.

We think it is very special and we love him very much. He has overcome so much, especially his first couple seasons in the NFL, it was rough.

That is part of the reason why we love him so much here. He just seems like an all-around good guy that changed himself for the better. Of course the fact that he is an awesome football player is a huge bonus. I won't get into all that happened last season... it brings back painful memories. lol. There's always this year (hopefully).

I think it is adorable that your older kiddos look up to him the way they do.

OMG, I would just DIE! and love you forever!!!

So now that the wedding is over is he allowed to grow the mullet back? That's too bad she made him cut it since it is part of who he is... All of my BFFs grew mustaches for my wedding, I thought it was hilarious and I love looking back at the pics.

1) I have an autoimmune disorder but don't know which one because I can't afford to go see specialists. I struggle with fatigue and joint pain and have a stomach ache almost every day. But it's not so bad that I can't live a good quality life
Have you considered Celiac? While a biopsy is the gold standard, improvement on a gluten free diet is now more widely accepted. Let me know if you want more info. I suffered 11 years before figuring it out 4 years ago.
