I keep on looking for the frozen fruit in the bags here at the commissary and they never have them. SO that got me to thinking maybe I could just freeze my own fresh fruit.

Whatcha guys think?

Yep. I've done it before many times. Most fruit freezes fine. You can also make fruit smoothies and freeze them in popsical molds and just eat those too.

Yeah I try to stock up on blueberries and strawberries when they are on sale and freeze them.

Yeah berries are fine. I've never had much success in freezing anything else.

Strawberries were on sale here last week and I cut them up and put them in sandwich bags and froze them. I unthawed them last night and put a little Truvia on them and they were so yummy! I like eating strawberries like that anyway....seems to make them sweeter and more juicy!
