So i took jaden took the doctor wednesday morning(yesterday). When we got there his fever was 101.4. His ears were thankfully fine. Doctor said it was either teething or nothing other then a virus. I was set on that and just waiting it out. He said it should clear by friday. Okay and jaden is still running a fever today. But here's the catch. Sunday i took jaden and seth to church and my friend was there. She had her two little ones who stay in the nursery as well. WEll she called me earlier like on que to inform me they all have strep throat and have been running fevers. So im not sure if this is just a coincidence or if he may have that. I was told infants aren't prone to strep but i have heard there are some cases. So im worried if i should call the pediatrician in the morning cause they are already closed now. Or should i just wait to see if this fever goes away by friday/saturday. He has been coughing.

Oh no! Sorry to hear Jaden is still feeling crummy. I'd call the pediatrician.

(For the record, I call the pediatrician all the time and I never feel guilty about it because hey, this is my first baby, and I don't know what the f*** I'm doing. It's their job to help me).

Anyway, I thought bacterial infections were more likely to cause fevers than viruses. Maybe I'm wrong.

I'd call the doctor and tell them that. You never know. I hope he gets to feeling better.

Well i also just remembered seth my four year old has been complaining of a sore throat and coughing as well. I hope its not double strep if any strep at all. Its such a pain having a child on antibiotics i would die having to tend to two of them on antibiotics. Plus if they have it most likely i will have it cause i kiss them all the time. So if they come up positive i got to go to the doctor as well.
