Ana (9) and Blake (6) FIGHT every single night. it always starts with laughing and playing then it just goes to far. Tonight Ana kicked Blake in his face, so Blake hauled off and pinched the crap out of Ana's leg. It has been like this for the past 2 nights.
Last night they were at each other and I had to pull them off of each other, then they were STILL going after each other.
Right now they are in their rooms...
WHAT DO I DO?

Sorry - no advice for you. My biggest 'sibling' worry is keeping Johnny from ripping Mabel's ears off.

ive tried making them hold hands. they squeeze each other and it becomes another fight. totally pointless

My sister and I used to fight like that all the time. When we did, my parents made us do different chores together. Wash the dishes together, if we got into a fight while washing them- then we had to go rake leaves together. If we fought doing that, then we had to go work on laundry together, etc, etc, etc. Eventually they'll either decide to quit fighting because they are sick of doing chores, or you'll have the cleanest house on the block! LOL. Hope that helps a little- sorry you're having such a hard time with them.

My kids are the same unless I give them something to do. Typically we wind down with a movie night. That can mean camping on the floor with a snack or sometimes in their room (they share) I think the best way to curb the fighting is to keep them busy.
