So we had our 20 week u/s today. Baby is looking and measuring right on track! he or she was yawning and stretching during the whole u/s, it was so cute! We are staying on team green again this time around, so did not find out the gender.
But unfortunately, i have placenta previa. Doctor thinks it will move up in a couple weeks, and I'll be having more u/s to monitor it. I am very upset and worried that it will not move and I will end up with a c-section and other possible complications. I soooooo want another natural birth and am scared that I might not get it. I just have felt so off this pregnancy to be honest, like something is not quite right, and now I am even more worried. So please say a prayer for me if you can that the previa will go away!

I will definitely be keeping you in my prayers! I had placenta previa with my first DD (she is almost 6 now), and I was put on bedrest for 6 weeks (due to spotting around 20 weeks), but it moved up and I had a normal vaginal delivery GL!

I'm sure it will move! Glad baby is healthy! Having a section really isn't the worst thing that could happen. As long as baby gets out healthy that's all that matters! I had a great section with Ethan. No worries! can't wait to find out the sex!
Wow already 1/2 way. I'm glad baby's looking great, but sorry about the previa. Was it complete or partial? I had a partial placenta previa with Sarah around 20wks and it did move up by 24-26 wks (I think...it was early 3rd tri). I was set to deliver her vaginally, but ended up with an emergency c due to placental abruption which was unrelated (I was having one with my son also, but got to deliver him vaginally since I was so dilated). I hope the previa resolves itself. If not, many people have had c-sections without any problems.

Previas are nasty but the usually move. Some can take a really long time to move. so stay positive. We all know How anti c/s I am. But a previa at full term is one of those things that means c/s. But before that happens see what your OB's feelings on vbac are. Beening a 1vbac would leave as a great canidate for vbac.
