Picking cucumbers at the CSA farm and hopefully corn with MIL tomorrow and then canning Sunday. Kevin will be working, if the pipeline gets any more unleaded gas. He will be able to get one load today and then they're out again.
Well we did have big plans to go to San franscisco and do a family day then dinner at inlaws but it looks like we will be hanging around home because I can't do SF right now
We will be working on projects around the house. Which makes me happy
I took Gracie today to get a few fall clothes. She has outgrown everything she had last year. Eli has some things he can still wear. Went to Kohls and got some decent deals. No big plans tomorrow, other than watching the race and baseball.
My father is here for the weekend, he's brought his dog. Dog= step mom, hate is putting it nice on how I feel about her. She so rude, all weekend she has not spoke one word to me, even when I ask her a question. Oh, but she's up my husbands ***! Tomorrow can not come fast enough! They leave @7 ....lord help me!
I cleaned..a lot. Yet for some reason my room looks 10x worse, despite all the sorting I did.. LOL I wish I knew what to do with half Ashlynn's stuff.
Ashlynn went to a birthday party with my mom for a few hours and I seriously slept the entire time she was gone because I HATE not having her around. It's sad. LOL

Saturday we went to our CSA farm and picked 12 dozen ear of corn and 1 1/2 bushels of cucumbers. If you're not sure just how much a bushel is, it's roughly 2 5 gallon buckets. Alek decided we needed a ton of monster size cukes, so we got one bucket of just those. Our farmer came by to see how we were getting along and he laughed with Alek picking the big ones. He told us not even to count the big ones into our bushel, since most people were just throwing them to get them off the vines. I'm going to make dill pickle slices with those, either Monday or Tuesday. I got half the corn (6 dozen ears) cut off the cob and frozen, but my electric knife died so I have to wait to do the other 6 dozen until Monday or Tuesday when MIL can bring her knife over for me to use. Sunday, I canned 12 pints and 12 quarts of pickles.
