For Michael for Christmas? SDD has a kitchen already that he shows moderate interest in (but its put away downstaires until we get it finished)... so i thought he might like this so he can grill like Daddy? But will he be too young for it? Amazon.com: Little Tikes Get Out N Grill: Toys & Games

I know he'll like it eventually, but would it be better to put it off for a year? IDK - remember his birthday is in January so he gets all his gift giving occasions at the same time

Oh also, he's a little behind in his "Interpretive play" (so he doesnt necessarily play with toys the correct way yet) but hopefully that will be caught up soon

I am thinking about getting this for Alex also. I think he will love it, and I think I would have fun playing with him.

Lily's friend has that toy and Vi loves it!

ETA: We also have 2 play kitchens and Vi spends tons of time playing with them. I think play kitchens/bbqs/etc are always great gifts.

I think it's a great idea! We got the girls a kitchen last year and Kolbie's been playing with it ever since. Whether he uses is correctly or not I think he'll love it.

Riley enjoys playing with "kitchens." She doesn't use everything just right, but she still has a blast. Generally you'll find balls in the oven or the blender on the stove, but she's still having a blast.

ETA: the grill is ADORABLE!

Okay i guess i'll get it! Dh grills A LOT and since we already have the kitchen i figured this is the boy equivalent He doesnt have access to the kitchen its downstairs in the unfinished part of our basement but sometimes when we go down there he sees it and plays with it for a few mins. We're int he process of finishing the basement so he'll be able to play with that and we'll have someplace for the grill by x mas

Too cute! We were going to get that grill for Jed soon too. They had it on sale at Wal-mart last Christmas but it was way too early for it.
