What is everyone doing this weekend? We aren't doing much. I'm pretty sure that we will be staying home all weekend. I will probably clean house, the kids will be playing outside, and my dh will probably be playing his video game. I have a lot of stuff I want to get done around the house. I am organizing everything. I have to organize my pantry, my bedroom, my bathroom, and I need to get rid of my old desk. I think those are the last big areas that I need to organize, so I hope to get them all done this weekend.
As always, dh works weekends so we dont have real weekends like everyone else. Dh was off the last two days and we did errands and just hung out at home, its been raining so much i'm ready to build an ark so its miserable to go outside
Yup, DH works all weekend. He's actually doing 7 straight days this week But it's so we can take a longer trip in October so it'll pay off in the end. He's been off the past 2 days and we've been hanging out.
But tomorrow is a Community Resources Fair at our church so the girls and I will go there for a little while. Then Sunday is the Sunday School kick off and since I teach and the girls go we'll go to church again Sunday. Those are the only plans though.
Our plan is to go to the state fair that opens this weekend. As of right now I can see this not happening becasue DS is having another asthma attack and the air quality is bad so unless it get better by tomorrow we will be staying home. If that is the case I think DH's sister will come up. That way maybe we can go look at Halloween costumes for the kids.
We've got a busy-ish weekend ahead. Tomorrow, I need to run some errands, finish up a couple Etsy hat orders, and order 2 flower arrangements for a double shower at church on Sunday afternoon. I also hope to watch the FL football game
Sunday, we have Sunday school and church in the morning, lunch and a thing at church with the teens, the double shower at 2, home for Riley's nap (and mine, lol), and church that evening.
Sometime this weekend I need to do all the laundry and pack for our vacation next week. We're going to CA and I haven't even started to think about what to pack. Seeing that my clothes are not fitting very well these days (definitely showing faster with #2), I know it's going to be frustrating to pack! I also want to clean the house so we come home able to relax... I hope it happens, but I'm not counting on that.
I think I'm going to get started on my weekend now! AH! way too much to do.
Mommy to Riley (3/23/10) & Caroline (3/11/12); wife to David (12/16/06).
We have a wedding tomorrow that Zach is a groomsmen in and Peyton is the flower girl!! ahh! She is so young to be a flower girl but she did sooooo good at the rehearsal tonight! The little boy she is walking with is about 5 and he is so good with her and she walked with him perfect the first 2 practice runs and then the last practice she was not having it! But I figure she only has to do it once tomorrow so hopefully she will do good. They understand though that she is a 16 month old and has a mind of her own. So anyway Zach and I will be out late tomorrow night and Peyton will be going home with my parents when they leave the reception and spending the night.
Sunday I will be sleeping in!!! Yay!!! And then getting Peyton when I get up and around and probably not doing much the rest of the day!
