Has anyone ever used a diva cup in place of pads or tampons? I am really intrigued by this and would love to know if anyone has successfully switched to it!

It is sort of unnerving that we don't really know what's in our feminine products, and there's so much waste involved with applicators and packaging, etc...

I haven't. But in high school, there was the Instead cup that I got and I had a bunch of friends using one as well. Same concept. It could get a little messy sometimes, but was super comfortable.

I've thought about making the switch. I already switched to cloth pads as back up to my tampons and like those a lot better than disposable pads. I just need to go ahead and do it.

I tried it years ago but I'm shaped abnormally small and it made me cramp really badly. I need to try a different cup, maybe the moon or the keeper. I use cloth pads for now for the same reasons as you. Tampons scare me.

I've always been hesitant to try them. I've never been told I'm shaped weird but I can ALWAYS feel tampons when I use them so I don't know if I'd like a Diva Cup or anything like that. Luckily with the Mirena I basically just spot for a few days each month. I should switch to mama cloth too though.
