So long story short, my SIL and I have been using a good friends horse in a few runs during our mounted shooting. B/c her horse is just purely amazing and is a great starter for rifle courses etc... we wanted to get her a special gift.

This friend is amazing herself and has let others borrow her horse for events here and there and she had shown us a picture one of them had drawn of her (one of those special gift types). Absolutely breath taking... but I can't draw and I'm not even sure I could beat something like that in a normal gift.

Does anyone have any gifts that were so special or thoughtful? I'm not worried about the price b/c I'm going in on it with my SIL and another little girls mom. Would just like some thoughts about customized gifts.

Her personality of one of a kind, super kind and on the flip side hilarious to the point of tears rolling down your face. Very easy going, loves anything western related, and anything that involves laughter and good friends. Ideas would be wonderful! TIA

Have you looked at etsy.com? If you type in horse for the search, you end up with over 40,000 items, but of course you can narrow that down. If you are looking for something really unique, it's a good place to start and you have all types of price ranges

What about a photobook from shutterfly? You could do pics of her horse and all her friends?

I was going to say Etsy!

I don't know if she's a jewelry person, but when I need a gift, this is the type of thing I gravitate towards.
