I know I'm friends with many of you on facebook so you might see this there, too...but I just posted a few of my thoughts on breast cancer awareness and prevention and would really love it if you checked it out. It's been on my mind and heart ever since I started seeing the facebook status trend here and there, and finally wrote out my answer to that trend.
That's absolutely right, Sam. I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I didn't add this in my post, since I had so much information I wanted to share I had to choose a few points; but I did think about this. When I mentioned the facebook memes to Dan, he had no clue what any of it meant; they were designed to specifically exclude men, as if it didn't effect them. When, in reality, men can get breast cancer AND, more men die annually of prostate cancer than women of breast cancer, but we never hear about that, do we?
Totally agree! And thanks, i dont think i've talked about my dad much before. He found out when it was already stage 4 like i said and it was also metastasized? SP? so he basically had no chance of ever being cancer free. He went though treatments for about a year and a half but he got an infection and went into septic shock and there was no coming back from that
