What all has your LO been sick with this year?

On Wednesday, I got a call from daycare that Alek had a fever of 100.9 so I had to pick him up. His teacher told me that he woke up from nap coughing and not able to catch his breath he was coughing so hard. Took him to the walk in pedi clinic, since his normal doctor was closed already for the day. He's had a clear, watery runny nose for about 3 weeks and we all figure it's allergies since it's harvest time here. A lot of the kids in his class are having the same problem. The said he's got an ear infection again. He just had one 3 weeks ago, so I'm not sure if it just didn't clear up or if it's the start of a new one. I think I'll have to make an appointment with his normal ped and see what she says in a couple weeks.

So far since the beginning of the year, Alek has had colds, allergies, 2 ear infections and hand, foot, and mouth. I don't think that's too bad, considering all that goes on here with the weather and harvest and being at a daycare center now.

Ryan has had a handful of colds, 3 ear infections, roseola and the stomach flu.
Aside from the colds all of the rest was within the first 3mo of the year.

Since January, she's had RSV, two ear infections, a mild stomach bug and a couple of colds. Not too bad-but I'm expecting it to get worse, as she is in daycare now.

Noah has really only had colds and some stomach bugs, nothing attributed to any specific virus or bacteria. Dayna - it sounds like Noah has a lot like what Alex has right now. He's had this runny nose for weeks, although this week it has cleared up, but then had a fever on Thurs of 101 so we brought him home, but since then he's had NO other symptoms or even a fever since then. It was so random, and he doesn't act sick at all.

I'm hoping that since Noah was in daycare last year that his immune system is built up a little and he won't get sick as much this year....or at least Mommy won't get sick as much.
