We are spending about 2.5 hours in waiting rooms per week and I don't know what to do with KC. She will only color with markers (no crayons) and for the most part she would rather color her body or furniture. Any other waiting room ideas out there that we can do?

Books? Though I know they don't keep a toddler amused for a long time when there's lots of brochures to touch and chairs to climb on!

What about activity boards like these: Amazon.com: Melissa & Doug Magnetic Hide and Seek Board: Toys & Games

Melissa and Doug Basic Skills Board - babyearth.com

Amazon has a bunch of games and puzzle type things - just type in Melissa and Doug puzzles. And maybe get her a tote bag with her name on it, and only let her play with those when you have to wait.

Kolbie loves our Magnadoodle. They have small travel sized ones that would be great for waiting rooms!

When we went on the plane trip, I got Jed a little backpack and put little toys in - a magna doodle, colorwonder markers and coloring book, a play ipod, little toy trucks, etc. Maybe something similar that she only gets in waiting rooms?
