I wish it was 5 too!! I get off at 4:30, but by 5 I will have my jammies on and a cold beer in my hands. lol

Tomorrow we are going to a St. Pattys parade and then having corned beef and cabbage.

Sunday is a birthday party for my niece and nephew. I made my niece a "color" book and am super proud of myself.
I need to give credit to whoever made this one on Esty.. Quiet book COLORS Fabric Quiet Book with by TurnbowDesigns

I will have to take pictures and show you guys. Mine looks very similar to that. I personalized it a little bit with my nieces name though.

i should really use my sewing machine more. I love the idea of making cute clothes and stuff for the kids, but lack the follow through.

Sewing machine? Where would you find one of those?

Seriously, I can't sew a button a shirt, I'm useless! Hayden is in a play in May for school and I am supposed to make her a costume.

My mom has one lol. She taught me how to use it. She made her own wedding dress! She's pretty good at that type of stuff.

my husband, while cleaning out our basement, threw my sewing machine away.....who throws a sewing machine away without asking?! Oh well probably for the best because I really can't sew anyway

Sometimes I wish mine would be thrown away so that it doesn't make me feel guilty, sitting there collecting dust. Also, dh always asks me to hem his pants and I sure hate having to do that.

Yay for finding the owner of the dog. Boo to having to give her up though.

I can hem, although I totally prefer to use the iron on edging stuff when ever possible. I was wanting to find a sewing machine and learn, but that would require me to have both the space for a machine and the time to sit there and fiddle with it to learn. Two precious commodities for me.

I am so glad that it's Friday. Just 20 minutes left of this day, this week. We are having DH's grandma, aunt, Mom and step-Dad over for dinner tomorrow night - a regular Irish feast I suppose. I'm making corned beef, mashed potatoes, roasted carrots and I guess roasted cabbage (ewwww to the cabbage). I'm also going to try a recipe for soda bread, and for dessert Shamrock Shake and Irish Car Bomb Cupcakes. I've never in my life had a Shamrock Shake, but the recipe calls for mint and white chocolate so I'm hoping they will be good. The others are a Guniess chocolate cake, filled with a Bailey's chocolate ganache and a Bailey's buttercream frosting. YUM!! My boss heard I was making those this weekend and has requested 1/2 a dozen. LOL

I saw a recipe for car bomb jello shots the other day that made me reconsider my disdain for jello shots.

Kelly, my friends doesn't go to tiny tots-yet. She sees someone at the Hetzle clinic at the Jewish and she is no longer thrilled about it so she's looking for other options. I can't think of many other options besides tiny tots but wanted to know if it's any good. Have you had your little guy looked at yet? Is he ok?
