Kim, have you even been to or heard of Lake Raystown? I've gone there since I was young and it's awesome. You can rent cabins, campers or even houseboats with jacuzzis!

Oh man! I hope the dr. is right Erin. Harmless nodule sounds great! Good luck with everything. You and Kim should be BFFs. haha She gets herself worked up too.

Hi Tonya!

I do get myself worked up ha....my friend actually had her thyroid removed last year, she had a bunch of thyroid issues, nodules etc, not cancer but they did end up removing it and now she feels great!

I have been there Amanda! when I was little! I might add that to my list to check out! right now I am looking at Lake Harmony, there is a lot to do there and some fancy houses to rent, I could totally relax there haha. Everyone around here goes to the beach too and I am not really a beach girl, we did the beach 2 yrs ago and I found it not relaxing at all lol, we'll see but I am pushing for the mountains, my kids could use the fresh air and nature.

George needs his thyroid taken out, Kim give him a call and let him know how great he will feel once its done. The man refuses to go back to the dr.

I miss going to concerts, I haven't been to one in ages...on that note Syd wants to see One Direction, I told her I would take her, (although I think getting tickets would cost a fortune and be nearly impossible) I admit I find them annoying yet also somewhat catchy. I would totally buy a 1D shirt and rock it out with her at their concert haha

300$!? that is loco!

Hope it's just nodules, Erin. When do you hear back?

We're starting to plan for summer too. We already booked a week at a cottage but we may also be planning a trip to visit friends in Chicago via another friend's summer house on Lake Michigan. I'm not entirely confident that will happen though.

So, Amanda...watcha going to be doin' tonight????

No, nothing yet. Hopefully will hear tomorrow or Thursday!

No way I would pay 300 bucks for one concert ticket. Not even NKTOB!

I got Hayden Taylor Swift tickets for September. She is so excited. They were high, but not 300 bucks.

Chicago would be fun!

I'm so ready for spring/summer! We have our annual beach trip with my inlaws for June. I typically go to the beach with my girlfriends each August, but I think I am going to pass this year.

Go Amanda Go!

umm yeah I will not spend that much on a concert ticket for anyone, oh well maybe by June she will be over 1D, 5 yr olds change their minds a lot ha!

I am so darn sick, today I can barely talk, DH will be happy about that

I think we decided to go to for sure go to the mountains this summer, Lake Harmony is most likely where we will end up, my friends are buying a house there this summer and they always rave about how awesome and family friendly it is there, there is a lot to do for the kids and yet relaxing enough for adults, oh and close to casinos, maybe I can win lots of money to pay for last minute One Direction tickets hahahaha, always thinking I am

Hope you made a baby Amanda! woot woot!

Good icy, icy morning!

Nothing like having all the kids crying from pain of cold. Ahh. And a special go f yourself to the lady who took the time to give me crap about "having a baby out in cold like this" while I walked my baby sittee from O's school back to my car

Dh has the car tonight and O has a swim lesson. Somehow I think walking to the pool for a swim class tonight is going to be a tough sell.

Stay cozy, everyone!

Yes, I would tell the lady to go F yourself, too. I hate people!

Today sucks so far. My regional VP is flying in at 12pm today, fun! Wedding planners are ticking me off. I just want a nap already!

Plus I did not feel well at all last night. I thought for a bit I had the flu, I was throwing up, achy and had chills. But I am okay today. Very odd.

Hey! Unfortunately, no BDing went on last night.. Boooo boring, I know. I haven't seen DH since Sunday night though. If I don't catch an egg this time, there is always next month!

Hi ladies, we are all recovering from the flu. DH escaped it, but the rest of us have been so sick. It's hard taking care of two sick kids when you're also sick and your DH is in his office working/hanging out because he can't handle puke. Needless to say, we're not exactly friends at the moment.

Michelle, that's horrible! I can't imagine not having heat in this weather. I hope you're all staying warm and snuggly by your space heater and the repair man makes an appearance ASAP!

It's Friday in my funny little world. Tomorrow is a PD day at Leah's school. She hasn't been at school all week though.

Sorry you guys are sick! I hope you feel better soon! Nothing worse than taking care of sick kids while you are sick too.

And I hope your heat gets fixed ASAP Michelle!! I thought no heat in my car was bad.. can't imagine my house!!!

We are warm and cozy again I was happy to hear that a part of the furnace was indeed broken and it wasn`t something stupid that I could have done myself.

Jennifer, that is the worst. So sorry! Really. And nobody even wants to come help when the family has the barfs, because everyone is terrified of catching it. So sorry!

Good morning! Tgif for reals! This week was quite a CHALLENGE.

Anyone have anything fun going on this weekend? Oscar has a birthday party on Sat and Sunday to attend. Dh and I got in a fight last night because I refused to do both of them. Dh somehow thinks takings kids to birthday parties is mom's job? He is mistaken. Also, 6 year olds...how come moms and dads are still going to the parties? When do drop off parties start???

Have a great day, ladies! Jennifer, is Leah getting fed up of being home yet or is she loving it?

So glad it's Friday! It's supposed to snow again this afternoon. Schools are closing 3 hours early and salt trucks have covered all the roads. Hoping I can get out of work early to avoid the mess. The problem is it is supposed to snow at 12pm, then the freezing rain begins. Good times!

I plan on staying in all weekend. I think Hayden and I are going to break out the easy bake oven. Then watch Disney movies. I don't plan on getting dressed tomorrow.

Not sure about the age of birthday party drop offs. I am not ready! LOL Unless I know the parents very well, I don't feel comfortable dropping off Hayden. And honestly I don't want parents to drop off their kids at Hayden's parties. This year was at a park and I don't want to be responsible for all these kids! LOL
