Sorry Alethia I get up too early!

Craziest: I forgot to put the coffee pot into the coffee maker (set to autobrew at 6 am) and made a HUGE mess all over the counter.

Best: I have amazing friends

Nothing too crazy, but Teresa was up at 2 and at 6. She's still fighting a cold.

The best-got in a decent run this morning and I've been fairly productive at home today.

Craziest: Jillian had a major freak out episode when I picked her up from school because she couldn't unzip her jacket to take it off so that she could buckle herself into her car seat.. It was lots of high-pitched screaming, kicking, stomping fun in the carpool line!

Best: Lucy fell asleep on the drive home from dropping Jillian off this morning, stayed sleeping when I took her out of the car and napped the whole 3 hours we were home before I had to wake her up to get pick Jillian up from school! Then we got home, I fed the kiddos lunch and they've been upstairs playing nicely in Lucy's room ever since. Lots of "me time" for Mommy today, and I SO needed it!

Brooke- Sounds like a great day!!!

Craziest: The power went out right as I was fixing breakfast for a big group of guys coming over! Thankfully it came back on about 5 minutes later, but for those few minutes I was very nervous

Best: Not one thing, in particular. It's been a pretty blah day.

What is the craziest thing that has happened today? In a good way Gavin stayed in bed til 7:05 am (he got up a few times before but him not getting up for good before 6 was amazing!)

The best? Nothing all that fantastic.... so I guess the best smile that came to me today was when I told Gavin to go to bed and he actually went to his room and stood at his crib.... I have been really stressed that his development is behind so this was really really nice for mommy!

Craziest - I hit snooze for over 40 mins and didn't even realize it!! I can't believe it. I was super tired from a super busy weekend. But how do you hit snooze for that long!

Best - just watching the boys play together tonight. Myles is just the funniest little guy and has so much personality. I can seriously just sit and watch and laugh.

I thought my overheating car was on fire. LOL turns out it was just a leaf. But good thing I put it out with a water hose.

Worst- my very good friend teaches my son and he's not being challenged or even really met with at all for reading she and I are starting to have some tension because of it. on top of that, she has a tough class and for the first time in his entire life, he's starting to get into trouble with a group of other hyper staff kids in his class

Best- Three years ago I created a sight word program thing for the year that my team uses and I had five other schools approach me to use it today at a training

I responded last night and JM ate my post. GRRR!

Sorry to hear about the teacher not challenging J. I know it is frustrating. Last year in Kindergarten Nathan would find trouble when he was bored. This year his teacher is so on the ball and keeps him BUSY! I hope you can talk to her and have it go well so J can get the challenge he deserves!

Awesome news on the sight word program!

Side note-how is J's Flat Stanley project going? After you mentioned those books I checked some out from the library for Nathan. They are super cute and he loves them. He'll read it in 1, maybe 2 days. We've been using them in between the longer books he's been reading (Henry Huggins mostly). Thanks!

He came home with books on his level last night!! Thank goodness! I've been just bringing books home from my classroom so I'm much more happy! Hope it keeps up!

We ended up sending his flat Stanley to austrailia! It's not back yet, but on it's way! I'm excited to see it! Flat Stanley is a cute series I'm glad you guys are enjoying them!
