We donate toys to the local angel tree sponsored by the high school's Beta Club. You pick out a boy or girl who's on the list (no name, just age and gender) and go get them a gift! Kensley did this last year, and it was hard for her to give up the doll she picked out for the little girl (brand new, but she wanted to open it herself!)

We'll do it again this year. To make it easy on her, she may pick out a boy this time I'll let her choose.

We donate thru our church-same idea as Gwynne's-tree set up with tags on them with age, gender, and a suggestion or 2. We always pick kids close in age to our own and let them help pick stuff out.

I usually pick a tag from the tree at church and will do that again this year. There is a Toys for Tots box at work, so I'll probably grab something for that as well this year, too.

one year for christmas when everyone was saying they didnt need anything Rob and I gave framed wedding pics and them we picked a child of the tree for each person, went shopping and took a pic of what we bought in honour of them, we put the pic of the toys in a card and wrote a little thing about the child who was getting it

my grandparents and parent really like that

we also always pick something from the tree from us

THANK YOU Jaidynsmum

Yes, it's such a great program...we often donate to churches and elementary schools in the neighborhood during the holidays. It's so important to teach kids the value of sharing/giving to the less fortunate at an early age!
