You're so sweet! Did some cleaning this weekend ... and got most of the groceries...have a few things left to get. Tuesday I'm going to start some baking and organizing things in bags so that each meal item has all it needs in one spot and i'm not a mad women trying to find everything Unfort no prep help b/c everyone is coming from out of town.... well my sister is bringing her vegan loaf - but that's about it. I also starting thinking at 2 am .. omg i need to get more chairs so chair shopping i go! I can't wait until everything is set and cooked!
Aw, it sounds stressful, but so much fun!! I hope you all have a great time!!
What about renting chairs? You can usually rent folding chairs for $1 or so for the weekend. It may be cheaper and easier than buying some and finding places to store them...unless you expect to have lots of people every year!

Good luck!!!!! I did the big traditional Thanksgiving dinner once -- it was crazy hectic, but I felt such an accomplishment of doing everything myself. Of course, once I did it that one time, I never volunteered to do it by myself again!
Thanks I did it last year too ... the year before that was at my sisters but with her divorce and the tension it's easier to have it at my place again, especially with family coming from out of state - since we live super close to the airport and hotels and Prescott is 2 hours away. What was crazy was doing it at our house last year only a week after my surgery ... not sure what i was thinking there.
