View Poll Results: Do you have an Elf on the Shelf?
This is our first year!!! She came this morning. She was hanging onto a wreath and had a long rope with a envelope on the end of it dangling. The card said "From the North Pole I came, now I need a name!" So Violet named her Flower
Flower is currently sitting on a bench book in hand, reading to a mini Rapunzel, Elmo, Spiderman, Strawberry Shortcake and Big Bird
We've had one for a few years now. His name is Scouter (Jonah calls him Santa's Scout and says that is his nickname. Jax likes Scouter and laughs and laughs when he finds him every day but he is nothing like the older two kids. They search for him like a contest to see who will be the first to find him. Jonah even wrote Scouter a couple of letters this year
LOL - I just noticed that this is an old post
~*Sally*~ wife to Chris since 2000, mom to Morgan (12), Jonah (8), and Jaxson (3)
We don't have one. This year the kids (the 3 older ones) found out the truth about Santa because they found the letters they left for him last year in the laundry room. I just admitted it because it's getting hard to convince them now. They saw a picture of an Elf on the Shelf and asked what it was, so I explained the concept and they were like "Oh, that's dumb." So I get out of it! Yay!
Our Elf's name is Ed. He's currently in the Christmas tree. I'm not getting all creative this year since he won't remember it, but I am moving him to a new spot each day and Connor has fun looking for him.
. Thanks .hOOdihoo.this. for another beautiful siggy!
Funny Elf story----our Elf was right across from our bathroom today and Lucas was sitting on the toilet pooping with the door open. He SCREAMS for me to come and shut the door....because, "I don't want Oliver to see me go poop!" OMG!
