On a baby toy? I know cole is only going to be about 3 1/2 months at Christmas and I didn't really plan on getting him anything, but we have a little extra money in our Christmas budget so I'd like to get him a toy that's just his (aka, not a hand me down) to use when he's a little older...but I can't think of anything! What did your Lo's use when they were 3-6 ish months that you really liked and would recommend?

I would probably get something like a tummy time activity mat.

At that age my girls loved ball popper things, texture balls that they could roll around and crawl after, and anything they could chew on.

Do you have an exersaucer?

If you're thinking ahead a little more...as soon as my boys could sit up they both loved playing with blocks of any kind, and they still do.

Weve got a mat and jumperoo...I was thinking of a ball popper but the fisher price elephant one doesn't have the best reviews, is there another kind? Blocks is a great idea too!

Playskool has one, Playskool Explore 'N Grow Busy Ball Popper - Hasbro - Toys "R" Us. I think that's the one the girls used...we just had it from a friend.

We really like these blocks. Amazon.com: Fisher Price Peek-A-Blocks: Shape Sorter: Toys & Games

They also have these too. http://www.amazon.com/Fisher-Price-P...181528&sr=1-21

They are a little bit older, but they will be fun for him for awhile. Jaxon still plays with his.

The Peek-A-Blocks are awesome! We have that whole ridiculous Incrediblock thing and the boys love it. I had to buy it used though b.c they don't make it anymore. I think the Peek-A-Blocks are hard to come by new now, too. Weird, because they are so fantastic.

What about a push toy that converts into a ride on toy if you are thinking ahead several months...
Or one of those learning dogs...not sure what the name is for the boy one...the purple one is called Violet...
I agree that blocks are always good...
