Totally curious.... when I look at Gavin he does not look like a baby at all to me.. he totally looks toddler. When we are out places people (adults) call him a baby. Does this happen alot to you girls?

Not that it bothers me, I wish I could keep him a baby but he totally isn't

NO... Jay lost baby status around 9 months old I was in the shops and a girl bumped Jays pram. Her Dad said "be careful, watch the baby..." The little girl looks at Jay and says "DAD...That is NOT a baby..." I could have cried!!!

We still call her Baby Kaylee - she'll always be my baby -- but i noticed with lil b that it wasn't till around 2 .. and being a full blown toddler that he wasn't called a baby anymore

Don't worry Gemma -- Betsy lost her "baby" status a while ago too. Most people just ask me about my "little girl". I still call her baby, but most others don't.

Funny story -- we were at a kids halloween party and a little girl looked at Betsy and said "Oh, the baby is a ladybug". My 6 year old niece got quite defensive and told her "Betsy isn't a baby. She's a TODDLER now."

Yep! People still refer to Evan as 'baby'. I think I will cry the first time someone calls him something like 'little boy'. Hehe. Mommy's baby forever!!

Sometimes a baby. Sometimes littleman - a southern thing I guess.

I'm cool with either.

Not adults. Some younger kids call her a baby. It doesn't really bother me. I still call her my baby girl. Heck, I still call my 5 year-old my baby! But she is definitely a toddler. She can walk, walk backwards, run and spin. She tries hard to jump but can't figure it out just yet.

She gets called a baby most of the time. In fact, yesterday we were out for breakfast and an old man waved at Lucy and said "Hi baby!" Brandon and I still refer to her as "the baby" and I suppose we will continue to until the next one comes along.

Yep, we get baby. I think it's just easier to say. I never hear anyone say, "Ohhh, is that your toddler over there??" We sometimes get "little guy" or "little man" too.

People have rarely called her a baby, they either call her she or by name.

We've probably only referred to her as baby a handful of times and then it was baby girl like it was a nickname. To me it would be like calling Nathan or Lukas "boy".
