Logan babbles alot and has several signs but for real words its:
Dada (over and over and...)
Mama (when he wants something)
Da (which seems to be for dog)
And he just now said "elmo"...crap
Sometimes we get an odd version of juice
He signs please, thank you, baby, more, has his own made up sign for "night night" and shakes his head yes and no. He understands what you are asking or telling him but doesn't clearly verbalize more than the above. I worry its the ear infections and we are getting a tube eval in a couple weeks but WOW so many others could give a public speech, lol.
Thank you Alethia for my gorgeous siggy!!

Max has had a talking EXPLOSION in the last few weeks. It's crazy! Although, he's much more expressive with his noises, still, and his actual pronunciation isn't the best.
He now says:
Ma (and every once in awhile Mama or Mom)
Baba or Baaaaa for bottle
Bo (my brother's dog)
Butter (for butterfly)
That or That? (for I want that or what is that?)
He also makes specific noises for:
Dog (he barks, but he does say "woof" or "arf" he actually tries to bark)
Sheep or Goat (baaaa)
Boooooop (whenever he touches your nose )
Throwing a ball (wooosh)

Gideon babbles wayyy more than he talks, but he does have a good vocabulary:
Dada (his favorite and very much overused word)
Please (signs as well)
Bad bad dog (I say this .... a lot and Gideon has picked up on that!)
Please (signs as well)
More (signs as well)
Baby (says this alll the time)
Woah (his current favorite)
Baba (for cup. I don't know where he got that from. I've never called a bottle a 'baba' and he hasn't had one in many months!)
He also says these when I ask "What dows a ___ say?":
Woof Woof (he says this every time he sees/hears a dog)
Rooooarrrr (for dinosaur and dragon)
He REFUSES to say Thank You. I've been working on that one for a long time and he will have nothing to do with saying or signing it!
Kat, mommy to Gideon (9-8-10) and Arie (7-6-12), and Evangeline River (3-27-14)
I'd like to think Grace talks french too. Because she doesn't shut up...but no one knows what she is saying. She was just raddling off to the doctor last week and he was in awe. I said, but she isn't saying but a few real words in there, and he said he doesn't care. She was communicating with him and that was what was important right now. (pointing, talking "to" him, etc. BUT, she has kind of exploded, for her, lately too.
She says regularly
yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
you get the point...she likes to say yeah..and she gets it from me!
She can repeat a lot. She can repeat her colors with me when we do them, it's so cute when she says purple. It comes out "puyrple". She will do animal sounds when I ask her, if I say "what does a cow say"..we will say "moo" together. Although she does think all animals say "moo".
Tay (our dog)
Dy dy (bye bye while waving)
No no no
Dooooow (when we sing we all fall down)
Rooooooo (for roll it in patty cake)
Ow (while pinching me)
That's the ones that come to mind right now. She's so cute
Interesting to read where everyone's LOs are with talking.
Wren is extremely verbal. I really couldn't even count how many words she has now (not that she pronounces everything correctly, but she tries!). That being said, she absolutely will not string two words together....except for "Hi Daddy (or Mommy, Diti, Pop Pop, etc.). Is that strange? When we ask her to say a two word phrase, she always tries, but it never comes out right.
