I saw that Rachel - yikes! Are you able to clean it up?

Life is about to get even busier here if that is possible. DH has some sport to do 3 of the weekdays and after this weekend our next free weekend is June 30 - ahhh!

Braylon is in rare form tonight - we did get a 4.5 mile walk in and he was good for that but once we got home he was horrible! Dh got home and Braylon was crying at the table and had been for 15 minutes - nothing I could give him or tell him changed the fact - I even tried letting him down - nothing worked! He got a bit better after bath but I am so glad he is sleeping now. He needs it!

So happy for the warm weather today!! Yippee for 70 degrees

The paint cleaned off the couch okay. Luckily it blends in. You wouldnt see it unless you were lookimg. But it still reeks of paint. Oh well, it could have been way worse!

The weather has been so "non-spring" like lately. Its colder than I'd like, usually low 50's during the day. Its been cloudy too. We still have to have the heat on. Boo!

Alyssa, I am also jealous of your sewing. I can do something small, like a button or fixing a hole, but I wish I had a machine I could learn on. My oldest always gets holes in the knees of his jeans and I wish I could fix them easy!

Rachel, you definitely deserved the monkey bread. I would have freaked if that happened here. Probably will someday! ha ha We are going to Riviera Maya in Mexico. We haven't been on a vacation alone in years! Since our honeymoon 9 years ago! We have been saving for a long time.

A vacation all alone, sounds perfect! Enjoy!
We are moving next weekend so things have been really busy here. Our house is torn apart, half moved, boxes everywhere right now so I feel so disheveled. It feels really good to throw stuff away. I also have a big pile of stuff that I'd like to put in a tag sale. Not sure if I'll ever get around to it though so I'll probably end up donating it.

Mindy -I am too jealous of your trip to Mexico with the hubby! I am hoping by time this little one is 5 we can afford to take a belated 2nd honeymoon in fact we will be close to our 10 year anniversary by that time so we will prob wait until around that timeframe but yes we def want a tropical vacation all alone someday haha!

Allyssa-are sewing machines these days easy to learn on? It seems like if you get one with enough bells and whistles on it these days it pretty much will do the work itself with just some hand guidance? Or am I way off on that thinking haha? What has me the most nervous is just the threadding of a machine and changing out thread colors etc...! Oh and getting things sewn in an even line LOL!

Rachel-I have been craving monkey bread or something similar! I saw a recipe using biscuits and I may give it a whirl tonight if the biscuits are still ok to use (and they haven't burst open in my fridge like I have had happen in the past haha) So glad the paint came out yikes!!!!

Jen-OMG to all the business I hate being that busy LOL! That is why I don't really push my kids to be into anything because I like not having stuff that we HAVE to do hahaha. Gabby is in tennis right now but that is only 1 day a week and ends this month sometime as was only like a 6 lesson thing. We might have to get her into something though as think she enjoys having at least one thing to do and especially during the summer I think she would enjoy it. I would love to get Lainey into dance around age 3 or 4 but we shall see on that too haha......

I turn 30 weeks this week ladies! I cannot believe how fast this pregnancy has been going and I am not complaining! I have really been enjoying all the movement this time around as this baby is just so stinking active! We will get the car seat put in sometime here in June and other than that I just need to wash up pump parts and cloth diapers here eventually and maybe one small load of clothes then will do the rest of the laundry after baby arrives since not gonna bother re-washing up all the girl stuff if it is not a girl!

Steph - Yes, they seem easy to learn on. I got my machine at the Exchange out here - It wasn't the cheapest one, but the next one up [and not the most expensive one]. It's a self-walking machine, though I still have to glide the fabric to make sure it all stays puts. My lines aren't perfect - But I am not too worried about that right now. Threading isn't bad at all. It's fairly easy once you get it down. I am having to re-thread often because of newbie mistakes or possibly because the thread tension isn't right [I have to play with it tomorrow], which is a pain, but like I said - Threading isn't too difficult.

I am working on a rag quilt for the girls right now. I got all 4 yards of fabric cut up. . . And now I am cutting the batting and pinning the fabric to the batting. Sewing as I go. It's gonna take a while before it's finished, especially since we move in 2 weeks. I CANNOT WAIT to move!! Though I am not looking forward to the actual moving, unpacking, ect part.. Haha. But then I'll be able to get ready for little miss Adalyn!

All is going well here I am 30 weeks pregnant and Gabby turns 10 on Mothers Day! Lainey is a little maniac but think we will keep her We have a busy weekend ahead including a new couch, Gabby and I giving each other manicures and pedicures, watching We Bought a Zoo with Gabby in our cinema in the basement, library, farmers market, baking 36 cupcakes for Gabby's class on Monday, local botanical gardens with the girls, out to dinner, out to breakfast, and I am sure some other stuff slid in!!!

I swear I posted an update on here the other morning.... Oh well. We are moving this weekend so things are very chaotic here. And emotional... It's bittersweet to leave the place we've called home for 3 years, I'm trying not to think about it!

I totally know that feeling Rachel! We lived in our house for 4.5 years before moving out here. It was our first ever place together. Other then boot camp & A-School for him, it was our first place we ever lived outside of our parents. A lot of good and bad memories - It was hard to leave the house we brought Emmersyn home in, too! It's so bittersweet moving.

Yes I think thats what is the hardest- this is the only place Kylie has ever known as "home". I looked at the tub this morning and got a little teary eyed, remembering her in there in her baby whale tub. And then she got big enough to enjoy a real bath. Grr I'm trying to just not think about it because I've actually been pretty okay with it. I know DH is having a little bit of a hard time- he moved a lot as a kid, so every time we move it throws him for a loop. He's got too much work to do around here to get emotional though. Its gonna be a buuuuusssssyyyyy weekend!

Good luck with the move Rachel! We just moved from our first home we were in for 8 years. I went through the whole house with a videocamera before we moved, and recorded my favorite memories from each room as I walked around. Definitely was bittersweet! I hope things go well!

I am so ready to get out of this house and move into a bigger place in 2 weeks! I don't really have any emotional attachement to this house since we were only here from a year. I think the only thing is that Adalyn was concieved here, lol. But other then that - Nothing big or super good has really happened. In fact - Part of the reason I am so ready to get out is because Em fell down the stairs here in November. Occasionally I'll still get flashbacks and panic and get all upset and sick over it all over again. . . So I think it'll be good for me to get into a new house, away from these 'haunted' stairs. Our new house will have stairs, but there's a landing that breaks them up so IF something happened, it wouldn't be as bad as a fall. Though we still don't allow her to go up/down by herself.

Hi ladies, I haven't been on in a while and I hope everyone is doing well. I am still at my mom's apartment (due to the renovations) being done in my apartment but I am ready to be home lol. Dh is going over today to clean up before Gabs and I go back. My parents are not too happy about us leaving. They definitely got used to Gabby running around lol.

It is going to be 3 weeks since we have been home but we went to Disney World last week. Gabs had a freaking blast! I had been wanting to take her for a while now and DH kept saying she was too young but he finally caved. When he saw her face when meeting the characters and all the fun she had he tells me "Seeing her face was worth it!" He wants to plan another trip back lol. I love Florida so I was very sad about coming back. We also took my niece and nephew with us and they had no idea until we were on our way to the airport

Since dh will be in our apt cleaning all day, I am going to go to Jo-Ann's today. It's been like a month since I've been to a craft store and I am going through withdrawals lol. I can easily spend hours there.

Rachel hope the move went well! I think I may actually be sad when we move out of this house since it will have been the longest place I have been in since being back in Michigan. Moving in general usually doesn't bother me though since the military got me used to leaving places for sure! Such a pain though!

Clarissa- your time in Disney looked soooo fun! I cannot wait to bring my kids someday....thinking that may be our trip in 2014 but not 100%....

Mindy and Allyssa hope you ladies are doing well!

I am so glad this week is over it has been emotional and long! Long story short my gram went off her meds and ended up in an assisted living home (no idea for how long although I kinda hope forever as she needs the care for sure!). I go to a huge Mom sale and some garage sales with Andrea tomorrow though so I am super excited about that gonna look for fall clothes for Lainey and then get some boy stuff just in case this baby is a boy and who knows what else!

We're busy bee's over here. We officially have a week left in this house - And nope, we're nowhere near ready!! Haha. So we're spending the weekend getting ready for it.

I've also been having a lot of dental work done this past week - Which sucks! My hormones are crazy. I am suffering from my every-6 months away from home, home sickness. . . And personal life is just insane right now. Oy. But I'm pushing through.

I'm 27wks pregnant today and feeling good for the most part - Not as good as I did with Em, but that's to be expected when I have a toddler to care for now. I went to the movies tonight and half way through I HAD to stand up. I was so uncomfortable. There were people in front of me, so I couldn't put my legs up and stretch out. So I think that was part of the issue. My hips and back were killing me, and I think I was contracting a little. Nothing much - I just felt the same crampy feeling in my lower stomach that I had in early labor with Em. Since getting home and laying out, relaxing, ect.. They've gone away.

The move went well, it's still just a matter if getting all our stuff out of boxes and set up. I feel really discombobulated!!! Kylie is doing great though and loves her new room- she has adjusted the best out of all of us. My dog loves it too, being out in the country!

On a bad note I got bit by a dog pretty bad on my forearm the other day. I had to go to the ER and get it irrigated (painful) and they decided not to stitch it so it could drain. My arm is all bruised and swollen, not to pretty! Oh well, it could have been waaay worse, I got lucky!!

I am at a wedding right now... Well I'm waiting to go in. DH is a groomsmen and I don't really know anyone that's going to be here so this should be interesting.

Rachel how freaky and scary being bitten that bad by a dog! Glad you are ok! Did it belong to someone you know? Glad Kylie has adjusted so well and hopefully you will feel in the groove soon! Moving really can throw things off!

Allyssa sorry to hear about all the dental work YUCK! What movie did you go see? I was debating going to one next weekend but think we may just wait it out and get it at home now as I too don't think I would be comfy! We are going to a concert in a few weeks though so that shall be interesting to see how I do at that! haha.

Summer seems to have kicked in full force this weekend and I hope it is just as nice for memorial weekend! I have a paper I am working on right now I am almost half way done with so need to get back downstairs and finish it so I can earn some outside time

hi all! sorry I've been MIA. Things with DH's health have not been good and I've been a basket case. I have a doc appt today to get on anti-anxiety meds, so hopefully that will help.

But this weekend was GORGEOUS! Sunny and hot and we took full advantage of it. Played outside, had friends over for a barbeque on Sat. and got a small pool for summer. So hopefully things are looking up!

Miss you all and hopefully I'll be able to update more often once things settle down a bit.
