I figured since Christmas was last week, it might be a good time to post some reviews of the toys and gear our Sweetpeas received (or have had!) for everyone to read. I was thinking it might help anyone who was interested in a certain item, but not sure about it. Plus, a lot of toys now are finally starting to be "longer term" toys, so it may help for Easter, first birthdays, even random gift giving throughout the next year

So, here goes! Any reviews on items that are amazing or awful or even somewhere in between

Eli got a lil tikes (?) basketball hoop and he LOVES it and knows what to do with it! I would definitely recommend it for this age and older!

He also got a crawl tunnel which he loves! It does take up a lot of space in our apartment though, but it'd be perfect for a playroom if we had one!

Gideon got MegaBlocks and he loves stacking them and breaking them apart. He also got a train table and some hot wheels, both of which he really really enjoys.

His favorite would be the Leap Frog laptop though. He plays with that thing all the time.

We don't have many toys Currently Teresa is walking around holding a Lego Duplo light/siren piece, flashing it in her eyes and laughing hysterically.

I've seen your toys Kris...who are you kidding??

Grace's favorite is either her kitchen, which she loves...or her playmobil farm. She sits quietly and plays with it for hours. Sooo cute!! And I just love that she already likes "imaginary" play...austin NEVER has.

WE had the tent & tunnel before XMAS (that was Emmie's gift last year) - the tent did not survive the year but the crawl tunnel is still going strong and he loves being in it now...

Jackson loves his bigger trucks that he can push while on his knees... He goes everywhere...

Jackson loves the Zoo Animal Fridge Magnet set and the Alphabet Set

Jackson absolutely loves, loves, loves his Thomas the Train book that has the sound buttons and pop up wheel (he had this before xmas)...

Betsy loves her leapfrog alphabet and farm magnets. She seems to enjoy her Fisher Price Little People Happy Sounds doll house and car. The Fisher Price baby dolly stroller is okay -- she likes it, but I think she'll be outgrowing it soon as it's more of a baby toy than a toddler toy. She loves her Grow With Me kitchen (if you're thinking of getting a kitchen set, that's a good one as it can be used for both toddlers and preschoolers). We stashed her other toys away so we could space them out and give her something when she's bored.

She also loves the great big huge bean bag we got her. . I'm not kidding when I tell you that it's taller than she is! Right now she just likes to fling herself on it, but we're working on sitting on the edge of it for reading books.

Max got this elephant magna doodle from my godfather, and he loves it!! I can't find it online anywhere though. It's in the shape of an elephant and it's made for toddlers, so the pen is attached and in a shape easy for little hands to grasp. Very cute.

He also has a CAT cement roller, and the roller part is a shape sorter. He loves that, too, and it's also from my godfather, who is undoubtedly a fantastic gift giver.
