The last walker? He's not yet. He's almost 16 months, all my other babies walked around 10 months. He will cruise around things pretty good, he climbs and will even let go and stand free but he will NOT take steps, he's so careful even sits down so slowly are carefully not to fall.
Maybe he's just not letting go cause he's being super careful. My aunt said one of hers still had to touch a wall at 2. Everyone is different i guess. You might call for therapy tho if you're worried. Wouldn't hurt.
Wanna hear something weird? Unless you have seen my FB status today?
He walked, completely unassisted! I was like WTH? He walked 3 steps towards me and then got this really surprised look on his face and sat down. I couldn't believe it so I stood him up and encouraged him to try again, he took about 7 steps that time before sitting down and then he took 3 steps towards me again to get a cookie.
He was holding onto my pinky a lot walking today too, I know that's not completely unassisted but for the most part he was doing it all himself!
I am so excited for him, it looks like he may finally be getting ready to walk.
The funny thing is I noticed that he kinda has a crooked sideways walk, I figure it's because of all those months he's cruised around furniture and such.
Nah he's still super cautious to everything and his little legs get shaking when he tries to walk by himself, He has however made huge improvement and will even go from sitting to standing without holding onto anything quite well, even if he's not a pro yet he's def made a huge leap in progress!
