Ok - so what's everyone been up to? What are you looking forward to this month? I'm hoping now that the holidays are over, we can all get back to a routine and get this board hopping a bit more. What would you guys like to see?? What would make you come back and post here more often?? Should I start some drama? J/K on that last one....

We're hoping to hear from the mortgage company to see what we can pre-qualify for so we can look for our first house. Just don't say anything on FB about it, please.
Plus our weather has been really weird. No snow for Christmas, about an inch the day before New Years that has actually stuck around, but it's supposed to get near 50 today! And this is North Dakota?

No tips. . .I like photos best but nobody follows through on contests games etc and very very very rarely does anybody respond when I post a photo thread so I've given up.
January update. . .we're good. Paige is standing, Zoey is crawling, they're both finally crawling FORWARD. I am loving staying home wiht the kids, my husband is coping well with working two full time jobs. Daycare is evil lol. Gracie is doing well at her new school, the teacher told me if I hadn't told her Gracie has high functioning autism, she probably would have assumed Gracie was just a little high strung and sometimes strange. She has her first crush, at the ripe old age of 7, I would like to meet this sean creature, she babbles about him constantly. Jake is learning his ABC's and can count to 10 in english and spanish. He wants nothign to do with recognizing numbers and letters though, so he must not be that visual. He is a sweet boy and whenever he pees he says "eeeeeew" and grabs his diaper, but we are moving very soon so I'm not going to start toilet training him until after that so he doesn't regress with all the stress and get discouraged.
there's my update!

Dayna - Very exciting about the mortgage, I hope it all works out!!!
Crystal - I like pictures too, and now that I can easily take them with my phone and post to photobucket and then upload here, I try to do them more often. See the bedroom thread.
Very exciting to hear the girls are so mobile now, I feel like they were just born yesterday!!! Crazy how fast life moves. Where are you moving to?

We found a house we like, now it's just a waiting game to see if we qualify for enough for it.

I am totally guilty of messing up on the DITL pictures. I was sick and then Eli was sick, and I just didn't feel up to taking pictures.
My birthday is next Tuesday, going to see my mom with the little ones on Saturday. Still just trying to hang on until the other house sells. Hopefully getting some things fixed here in this house in the next week or 2, one of our toilets and the dishwasher. That will also get our icemaker working, which will help me with my coffee since I can't drink it super hot.
Yeah, my life's real exciting

Well I was looking forward to our ultrasound but it was yesterday and we are having another little boy! Very exciting for Nolan to have a little brother. The rest of January, um I guess we are excited about filing our tax return next week. The sooner it comes back the sooner I can pay off debt! I'm going to order 8 new chicks later this month too, not sure what kinds yet though. That's about it for us! Other than that, just waiting for spring. So tired of the gloomy rain.

Amanda, I love the name! And congrats on another boy. Just think, you don't have to buy a lot of new stuff. I wish we lived out of town so we could have chickens. One of the houses we kind of are thinking about if the one we love sells before we get approval is about 35 minutes from town with 10 acres.

Mind if I toss in an update?
Ash is doing well Growing and learning like the maniac she is.
We move Friday..after what felt like a million bumps in the road (problems with the bank, issues with them deciding on a date to close everything) and I could not be more relieved. My family showered us with home appliances so I'll be making heaps of crock pot meals and want to try making my own salsa sometime soon.
SO and I are doing awesome and are both eagerly expecting what the u/s tech guessed (80% sure) is our SON! We have a little prince on the way! Now we're just saving for boyish newborn cloth diapers, which we'll be buying in May, and confirming his gender on the 30th of the month. Fingers crossed he is still a he.
Things are just all around going amazingly Couldn't possibly be any happier!

I am totally guilty of messing up on the DITL pictures too. Between the pregnancy, no camera just iphone, and serious virus on my lap top I gave up.
Updates:
Still pregnant and I'm feeling my age, and weight kicking my butt! Lost 12lbs over the holidays bc of asthma. Not that I didn't need to drop some weight. Getting ready for lil Lees b day, and baby. We just received a letter from our hospital saying we need to pay $1700 before delivery. Just put more stress on us :O/ Getting scared of the idea of having two kids so close together. Lil Lee is such a handful! I hope to get him into a GI doc soon. Also battling my DH on making him sleep in his own bed, he lets him getting away with it every night! GRRRRRR We have diff ideas of parenting, me being the mean one.
I hope to be more active on here, but I can say its getting harder as this pregnancy goes.
