I am! I see that Ashley is. I know Jennifer is supposed to be doing the same diet plan as me but hasn't really started yet. Who else???? What are you doing to lose?

I am trying out homeopathic HCG drops. I've lost 13.2 lbs in the first 6 days. Granted, it's mostly water weight and I am REALLLLY fat to begin with, but my clothes are fitting better and I FEEL sooooo much better.

I am. I just haven't posted in my thread the last week since I have been sick.

Do you feel hungry any? I had heard that you can only eat 500 calories each day??
Best of luck and KUP!

My sister is interested in doing the hcg drops too so let me know how you like it.

I am...though I've slacked off a bit with all the Christmas & birthday celebrations.

I've just been doing diet/exercise, & keeping track of what I eat on MyFitnessPal. I'm not following any particular diet, but I'd say it's closest to a combo of South Beach (focus on glycemic index/hunger cycle) and Weight Watchers (keeping track of what I eat daily, focus on eating more fiber/proteins/healthy fats, etc). But overall, I don't do low-carb or low-fat or anything like that. As for exercise, I try to exercise 3 times per week...just random workout DVDs or Wii Zumba.

The first 2 or 3 days I was miserably hungry. Like it wasn't even funny how starving I was and I thought about quitting several times. But by about day 4 I wasn't hungry at all. And yes, 500 calories! They have list of foods that you can eat that are ridiculously minimal. After 3 days on those foods I said screw it and added things like ground turkey, eggs and cottage cheese into the mix and have continued to lose at a rapid pace. To be honest, I am skeptical as to whether or not these drops are legit and doing anything. I could very well be losing based on the low calorie diet alone. I plan to do this for about a month (hopefully lose 30-40lbs) and then switch to a normal low carb/low cal diet.

Yep..I hope to lose 50 lbs..that would put me back to my weight before I had any kids. Everyone says it's an unrealistic goal because I was stick thin and in super good shape then, and now i'm more curvy and stuff..so IDK..i'd be happy losing 30.

Where did you get the HCG drops. I know someone who started doing it when it first started to be talked about, and she was ordering it online and giving herself shots..I couldn't do that. I've seen drops at Walmart and wondered if they worked. I almost bought some but I figured if I just ate only 500 cal per day i'd probably lose weight quickly, I don't know if I have that kind of willpower!

I am.... I started on the 1st, and I lost 3.75% of my weight in week one (6 lbs.) Granted, that was probably just all the weight I gained over the holidays. I am basically eating less, and jogging a lot. I do between 3-5 miles on the treadmill while the girls nap. My goal is to lose 12 more lbs.

I have a question about the HCG diet....
If you're only eating 500 calories a day, you'll lose a lot of weight, but...what happens when you go back to having a normal balanced diet of say 1500 calories per day? Wouldn't you put weight back on? Even though you aren't eating excessively, you're still eating more than your body is used to, so wouldn't that translate as a gain?

You have to slowly up your calories over like 2 months to 1200 calories. It's supposed to be a lifestyle change and you should continue with a low calorie, low carb diet foreva!

Well I have lost 17 lbs over the last 6 months but not in the healthy way. It was more stress and being sick but I am aiming to losing the rest how its supposed to be lost.
