We have been slowly taking Myles bottles away. He now only has one at night and the odd time for a nap, if he's having a hard time. I did the gradual thing with Mason too and it seem to work good for them.
As for the night bottle (besides the fact that I don't want to wash bottles anymore) I'm not in a rush to get rid of it. It's comforting to him and I'm pretty sure eventually he won't want it anymore. My girl friend still gave her 3 year old a bottle before bed and although it looked kinda funny - I don't think it was bad for him?
Thanks Blair and Tanya, you both made me feel better about him still being on the bottle. I feel like there is a lot of pressure for babies to be off a bottle by 1, but I totally agree and don't think it's a bad thing at all
