I'd love to see you with twins, Kelli!!! A friend of mine had a VERY early digi reading, but her HCG levels weren't as high for the dates for twins, so we all assumed she had a singleton... until that 7 week u/s and there WERE 2 in there! (still are!)

^^ That super smell is always one of my first symptoms, too! DH thinks I'm nuts until he can smell what I do, then he looks at me like I'm Wonder Woman

Love the name choices! I've seen Sloane used a LOT for girls, just as a thought if you find it OK on a girl. I like Adler and Sullivan for a boy Goes well with Eli and Finley...

Aniston, Amelia and Lainey are my faves for girls on your list.

You'll come up with the perfect name for this bean (er... beans) in no time

I looked through more names today and added quite a few to my list. I figure the bigger I make it, the more likely DH will like one off of it

Here are the ones I added:
GIRLS-
Hadley
Harlow
Hollis
Marleigh
Marlow
Monroe
Paisley (I go back and forth on this one)

BOYS-
Gibson
Bensen
Davis
Everett
Merritt
Penn
Joel

I love Amelia and Hollis for girl names (Hollis is on our list of boys names- I like it for a girl of boy name!) Davis and Nolan are my favorites from your boy list. Merritt is nice too- what do you think about the name Merrick? One of my friends has a little boy named Merrick and I think it's such a great name.

I really love Aniston, Lainey, Nolan and Lane!! I've also liked Paisley for a while but it clashes with our last name too much to ever consider. You have some great choices!! And I think about baby names all of the time and were not even trying so at least your pregnant I think it's to be expected.

On your new list, I like all the H names and Marleigh for girls. Harlow is one of my secret faves Hollis may be a bit more masculine sounding, so I don't know if I LOVE it, but I do like it

As for boys... I love Everett and I like Merrett, but was also going to suggest Merrick (which I'm a bit more fond of).

You have a great list! Has Daniel mentioned any names he likes? Just wondering how fast you'll come to a decision on a name...

Are you getting the 12 week NT scan? It's a great sneak peek at gender

Ok... Kelli... Seriously...

I need a ticker or something in your siggy to see how far along you are! If you aren't hesitant to add it Or, you'll just have to post that it's *whatever date* and you are *however far along* in your posts

Thanks for the comments!
Daniel hasn't really looked into any yet, he mentioned the name Emma the other day... which isn't me at all.
He's mentioned that he likes a few on my list. He will probably get more serious about it when we find out the gender.
I am kinda hesitant to add a ticker at this point But I am 5 weeks tomorrow.
Jeez, I hate finding out early because then the first tri lasts FOREVERRRR!!! (I found out 7 days before my period was due! ).
I'm calling the doc tomorrow to set up an appointment and see how she wants to progress, as far as high-risk or not.
I am dying holding this in from my mom!!!

5 weeks!!! That little bean's (or plural!) heart beat(s) will be seen soon! I know what you mean by the first tri going slowly. SSSLLLLOOOOWWWLLLY. If it helps, your first tri is going by faster for me

I understand about the ticker. ((HUGS)) You'll be able to add one soon, with some confidence and joy! The question is whether you'll have one little icon in it for a singleton, or 2 for twins

5 weeks 3 days

I had a little bit of a scare this week.
On Wednesday morning I woke up with blood (about two quarter sized spots on my underwear). Throughout the day as I wiped there was less and less blood until it was almost nonexistent by the afternoon. Same thing happened Thursday, except it was even less!
Keep in mind, I have never had ANY bleeding or spotting with any pregnancy. So what was really probably just pink tinged mucus/discharge seemed like gushing in my mind. Jenny kept reassuring me that it was probably HARDLY even spotting, which definitely calmed my nerves.
Thursday I went in for a blood draw and they said "results in 48 hours"... which could have meant finding out results TODAY or MONDAY!

Praise God they called today and set my heart at ease!
My HCG was 18000 and my progesterone was 26! She said both numbers are perfect and she set up a u/s on April 4th! What a great late b-day present! Can't wait to see little baby bumble!

It's just one, but it has a STRONG HEARTBEAT!!!

Just got back from my appointment! We did an ultrasound, a routine visit, a pap smear, and blood work!

At the u/s we saw one healthy baby! The heart rate was 144 and s/he was measuring 3 days ahead! It also looks like I have a tilted uterus this time, so I'll probably show a lot sooner! She also said it looks like I will have a posterior placenta, so maybe I will actually feel baby before 20 weeks this time!!

She said she'll probably send me to the specialist around 12-15 weeks for a detailed/targeted u/s to make sure there are no problems this time around.

It was a great appointment and I just love my OB. We talked about Finley's birth and she was 100% behind me wanting a c/s. She also told me that with what they saw on the u/s and how far along I am I have < 3 % chance of miscarriage which makes me feel a little bit better. I know I will be anxious until after the anatomy scan and still nervous til I am holding this LO in my arms, but at this moment I am SO thankful and feeling very blessed!!
Thank you everyone for the T&Ps!

Awww!!! YAY!!! Baby White is going strong YAY! I'm so happy for you!

I have a tilted uterus, but it's tilted back and it takes FOREVER to show (um... being an Amazon woman helps, too). So, if you are tilted forward, you should show FAST!

I bet you start feeling him/her very, very soon. The rest of this first tri will fly by! So glad there was awesome news!

15 Weeks

I'm getting more and more nervous. I missed my first tri-genetic screen and I think I purposefully did it subconsciously if that makes any sense to anyone.... I kept putting off calling to set it up until it was too late. I was too scared to see the results and to see if there was any genetic problems. Ugh.

I have an appointment coming up, I think June 2nd? But I will be out of town so I need to reschedule that. Then I have a "fetal diagnosis" appointment with the MFM on June 22nd, which is just precautionary to make sure there are no issues following Finley's defects. I think they will tell us gender at that one??

Honestly, I am getting more and more nervous as time goes on. I thought I was doing good 15 weeks was my first u/s with Fin and looking back at the pics you could tell there was something "off" and that the fluid was low. It was our first indication. I am dreading the anatomy scan and I'm scared I will self-sabotage again when it gets closer. Scared, scared, scared.

To top it off a close family friend is going through a pregnancy tragedy (they tried to place a cerclage and broke her water) and it looks like she will soon be delivering her 24 week old miracle baby. And another friend at church (just found out today) will be delivering her 26 week old baby due placental insufficiency in the coming days.
Isn't pregnancy supposed to happy??? I feel like I am be suffocated... the only way to keep going is to not think about it, but then I am afraid that I will miss out on bonding with him/her like I did with Finley
So... that's my update/therapy session.
