What did you think you were going to be when you grew up? Is that what you're doing now?
I went back and forth a lot when I was little, but working with children was always in the back of my mind. I went to my first year of college at GA Tech for a computer science degree, but then I switched schools and got my teaching degree. I love teaching even though it's a horribly frustrating job to have in the US right now.
When I was younger I thought I would be a teacher, in HS i decided I would take nursing because I had to take something, but I think I have known all I really wanted to be was a mommy since I was little
now im a SAHM but some day I would like to be a Midwife or doula or maybe an L&D nurse
I'm actually looking into what would be required as far as courses go to become a lactation consultant. I have turned into the go to person at my school for breastfeeding advice. I think I might like to try making a living at it sometime.
