Eli is officially done with naps in the afternoon. He was fighting it so bad recently, staying in his bed, crying a little but mostly just talking to himself, then falling asleep way later and we'd have to wake him up. Then he'd stay awake late at night too. Now, he's doing fine without naps and he goes right to sleep when we put him to bed. Gracie needed naps longer than this, but right now it makes things easier, and he's doing just fine. He did fall asleep on his floor in the evening the other day, but he was fine when we got him up.
How many little ones are still napping? If they've given up naps, how is that going?
Allison tried giving them up about a month ago but I didn't let her. She was super cranky and making us miserable! We changed up how we do naps (her dad's chair instead of the bed) and she goes down for a 2 hour nap without a fuss. I need the time for a nap with the new baby.
Ashlynn is still napping for 2 1/2 hours or so every day. She could theoretically go without, but both she and I do better when we nap. She naps in my bed though and usually we go in the room and hang out until she zonks. If she's super tired she will cuddle and fall asleep. If not, she will play with a couple toys or look at books until she is tired, then she cuddles and falls asleep
If she's REALLY stubborn I will close my eyes and pretend to be asleep (and, I admit, I've fallen asleep before her a few times but there's nothing she can hurt herself with anyways) and she will fall asleep very shortly after

Nolan still naps every day. If he doesn't, the rest of us are miserable. He can make it until about 1pm and that's the latest he can go before he starts having meltdowns. He typically sleeps 12pm to 2:30 or 3pm.

Alek will nap great at daycare for 2 - 2 1/2 hours. But come the weekend, no way will he lay down for a nap. He usually falls asleep in the van and stay asleep for at least an hour when I take him out and lay him either on the sofa or in his crib
