We are moving soon to a two story town-home & I need a baby monitor so that I can, obviously, keep an ear out for Munchkin when he's napping or sleeping (since he will also no longer be sleeping in our room... *sad* ). I've never had to buy one before so I have no experience with them. I don't need a monitor with a TV monitor or anything, just something with good range & good quality sound.

I appreciate any info and recommendations!!

Thanks in advance~

I love the Snuza monitors. I don't know how old your baby is, but if you're looking for something that will do both movement and video/audio the Snuza Trio would be a fantastic option. It has both a small portable movement monitor that clips onto the diaper (the Halo) and a video/audio monitor that does have a screen so you can see him from where you are. I like to have both so you can know he's both breathing well and will hear him if he wakes up. The Snuza monitor has been a lifesaver for me. I really like mine. I don't feel comfortable not being in the same room without it!

Gabriel is almost 21 months old. I just need something with good range & good sound quality. I don't need to a visual monitor or anything. Since he'll be napping upstairs & will also be sleeping in a different room soon, I need one just to keep an ear out for him.

I'll check the one you mentioned out.

Thanks~

I just have a Safety First one with 2 sets on it. I think it was a cheaper one that was bought for us from Target and it seems to work pretty well. I like that I can use batteries or plug it in to the wall.
