Where does your LO sleep? What kind of bed? Is the door shut?
Caleb sleeps in his room with the door open. He's still in his crib. We usually buy a big bed for their 2nd birthday, but I don't know if I'll be ready to take the crib down for the final time. He may just be in the crib forever lol!
Ripley sleeps with us. She nurses a couple times a night. She has a bit of a reverse schedule since I leave at 4:30 am and don't see her till about 3:30 pm m-f. She this started when I returned to full time work when she was 8 months old. I figure when she's done nursing she will be done sleeping with us. I hear you snickering...
Gabriel sleeps in a crib in our room for now. When we move (SOON) he'll be in the room w/ his brother--IN HIS CRIB (I am a little sad about him moving out of our room, tho). That boy is too freaking dangerous for us to put in a toddler bed right now LOL!! We shut the door & keep a fan running (for white noise & to keep the room cool) & it HAS to be absolutely dark in the room. He's like his mama, I guess. I can't sleep with much of any light at all. His poor brother is going to have to learn to sleep without much light as well...but he'll get over it.
~Thanks AlexKatieAiden Mommy for my awesome siggy~
Macie is in our room in a crib. She sleeps with the door shut because if anyone is in the room or she hears too much she just won't go to sleep. Once she is asleep, its all good though. We are moving her out of our room soon to a toddler bed in her brothers room. I am very nervous about it though but we need more room in our bedroom...
Max is on his crib mattress, on the floor. We have a thin air mattress next to it to help cushion his falls. It's not unusual for him to end up sleeping on the air mattress or even the wood floor. He went to bed much easier when he was still in his crib, but I got really nervous when he started putting his foot up on the railing because I wasn't sure how long it would take him to learn to climb out. So, we're adjusting. We shut the door and actually have a child-proofed knob on the inside so he can't get up and wander in the dark without our knowledge. I crack his door open when I'm up so he can just come out and find me when he wakes up.
