Hi i'm new to this site,

I have a wonderful son who's name is Baldur Ari and he was born on october 19, 2010.

I have one question how much are your kids speaking? I feel like he is saying a lot less than is normal... He has like mabey 30 words... If that.. His older brother had at least a 100 at the same time so i am getting a little worried :/

A lot of second kids don't say as much. A few of my friends' kids don't say much at all when the older siblings are chatterboxes.

Welcome! I'm glad you found your way over here I'm not sure what is considered normal at this age. I know Megan says a lot but about 25% is gibberish.

Hello and welcome! 30 words is great for this age. My Macie only says a handful of words and her doctor doesn't seem to worried. My oldest was talking full long sentences by 18 months! It is amazing how different siblings can be!

Hi and welcome!!

Gabriel says probably 95% gibberish, tho in his world he IS talking to you, so I try not to worry too much. He says only a few things that WE can understand, and that's just a handful of things--not much at all.

We know he says: ot (hot), meow, dai dai/bye bye, mama, dada, see that, ear (his version of here), hey (he just started this)...and probably not much more.

Camryn talks a lot...most of it is still gibberish but she says things like "I gotta pee", "Where'd the doggy go?", "I'm done now", "No teeth brush". I'm not sure what's normal. When my son was that age, he definitely wasn't talking as much as she is. I think 30 words is good at this age!
