How did your LO cope with a new baby? Brianna was very hesitant to accept Wyatt, but she'll be excited about this one. Wonder#3 is due a week before her 5th birthday.

Wyatt and Brianna are so different. I worry that he'll be super jealous.

:-/ Brianna and Wyatt are almost exactly 2 1/2 (2y,6m,21d) years apart, Wyatt and this baby will be closer by a month or two, depending on when he tries to make his appearance. my EDD is 3/29, Wyatt's birthday is 10/29.. so 2y 5m *IF* I make it to my due date, but one early and one preemie probably means signs pointing to an earlier baby.

First, congratulations!!! Big news!

That's so cute that Brianna will be excited for this new sibling. She'll be such a good helper. I'm sure Wyatt will adapt especially if Brianna will be around to show him the ropes to accepting a new sibling.

As far as acorns with younger siblings, I'll have to get back to you. I'm due in about a month. The girls will be about 22 months apart. I'll let you know how it goes! I'm a little nervous!

I am so excited for you Leslie, and I love your siggie now by the way! Anyways, back to the question, my experience is a little different since the girls are so close together. Only 15 month difference. So to Jojo is really wasn't a big deal, one day there's a new baby in our house and all she wanted to do was say Baby, Baby, Baby!! She was excited, but like I said, she didn't' really know what was going on. she didn't get scared when Livy started crying, nor did she really get jealous when I had to spend time with Livy and not her. I made a huge effort to include Jojo in everything with the baby and use all experiences as learning lessons (she learned the word boobie from breastfeeding/pumping, and she learned the words peepee and butt from diaper changes, stuff like that). But Jojo's also been a pretty mellow little girl, I don't know that she ever would have been jealous or anything now matter the age difference.

Everyone kept telling me how jealous parker was going to be. He's been the baby and gets all the attention, blah blah blah.. I can't be more proud of what a great big brother parker is to levi. He helps out so much. He loves to hold him, give him kisses, helps taking him to the car and back to the house.

I think a big thing is get them involved with the baby.
