Has anyone had this problem with their LO recently? I am ready to loose my mind. My LO used to take 3 hour naps every afternoon like clockwork. Now he is screaming when I put him to bed, or he sleeps for a short time then wakes up screaming. I took him to the Ped on Friday to rule out an ear infection, and they couldnt find anything wrong. They suspect the 2 yr molars are coming in because he seems miserable all day long and keeps grabbing his ears. He seems to sleep fine at night though. I am due to have a baby in about 2 weeks so this is a horrible time for this!! I have so much to get done and absolutley no free time. My LO is whining & clingy all day long and I don't know what else to do.

That sounds like theething for sure ... and may I add that Wyatt quit having 3 hour long naps about 6 months ago. Lucky you to have them this long. Wyatt naps about 5 days out of the week. usually 2 hours or so... and no specific time ... might be 12 might be 2:30... definately sucks. maybe we will get in a better sleeping pattern once schoool starts.

We get a 2hr nap in about half of the week, then we have days like today where he wouldn't nap and ended up taking off his diaper and pooping on the floor

I am so jealous of people who have kids that nap 2-3 hours! Lol
Owen hasn't napped since 13 months and Maria (9m) has one hour in the morning and 45-1 hour in the afternoon.

Losing 3 hours of precious nap/mommy time is rough. I feel bad for you. It does sound like he is in pain. But you said he doesn't wake up at night?

Mine stopped sleeping for 3 hours a while ago. I can't even remember when. She sleeps 1.5-2 hours a day. But there are days where it takes a while before she can fall asleep.

Hope the sleep issue will pass for you.

Rosie takes 1 nap a day. She will for the most part take her morning nap at 10. And sleep for 2 hours but sometimes she refuses and takes it after lunch. She does fight it at times but my rule is even if you don't sleep you are in your room for quiet time for 1 hour. I don't care if she plays or sometime I put a movie in for her and let her lay in our bed. But she has 1 hour if quiet time a day. She needs it. And most times she falls asleep.

Ditto! I feel so bad for you . London has one nap, but some days she doesn't and it doesn't seem to affect her much.
