Does anyone's pumpkin still use a paci, bottle or suck their thumbs?
*sheepishly raises hand* Caleb still gets a bottle but he kinda uses it was a pacifier. I really ought to get it away from him, but Isaiah was almost 3 before we got it away from him, so if it's gone by the time he's 2, I'll be ahead of where we were with #3.
MaryBeth gets a paci still. I probably should take it away from her, but its her one relief when she's teething and she is finally cutting her canines. But as long as she is putting herself down at night by herself I'm ok with her getting it. Because she only gets it most days at naptime and bedtime.
Colin still uses a paci at bedtime. While we were on vacation he wanted it ALL THE TIME, so I'm glad we weaned back down to bedtime once we got back. Now to plan for the final removal....ugh...not looking forward to the crying.
Nope. Ripley spit out her pacifier at 6 months and never wanted it again. Pretty much same with the bottle. Daycare was hard for a while. She still nurses when we are together, but it's mostly right when I pick her up and just before bed.
Yeah Isla definitely still has a binky. The bottle she dropped at a year, and she never sucked her thumb, but I am honestly not even going to think about taking away the binky until she is transitioned into a bed. And even then, I need her to be sleeping in there consistently, and then I will offer a reward for giving me the binky. She can have the binky back, but then she needs to give back the new toy...it worked with Keller (though Isla is more stubborn) so hopefully it will be ok!
Ember still has her binky, or "B" as she calls it, at nap and bed times.. My husband is really trying to take it away, but she barely sleeps as it is... We will probably take it the week of Halloween, because I have some vacation time then.. Uggh.. I don't even want to think about it!
