Gosh I feel like total crap. I weaned Sophia 5 days ago and I have terrible headaches, am tired and exhausted. Food doesn't give me any energy. I just want to sleep. I think it's from weaning. What do you think? Does that sound normal?

Anybody else go through this with weaning? How long does this last?

Was it a quick weaning? IDK, but I think that makes sense. In early pregnancy we get exhausted from the change in hormones so weaning could probably do the same thing, especially if drastic.

You are right. It was quick. I did it cold turkey. But she was only nursing 2x a day before that. I figured she wasn't getting hardly anything. But maybe I was wrong. I wouldn't do the cold turkey method again.

Thanks for your response.

How are you feeling now?

I would say a change in hormones can be the cause. Any chance of being pregnant?

Oh gosh. I actually just bought a package of pregnancy tests. There could be a chance. But I haven't even keeping track of when my last period was. I could be late. I really should be better organized.

:-( I hope you get a BFP soon! I guess maybe the hormonal changes are from the decrease in BF.
