Does your LO have an apron to wear while doing crafts or helping in the kitchen?

Would you ever get him/her one or use one if given to you?

No, we don't have one. I had one for her sister, so I should get around to making one for her at some point...

I was going to buy one. But today we went to an art "class" for toddlers and they just use old t-shirts as the apron. It worked great and the kids looked so cute in these oversized t-shirts. Like little artists.

I think for at home I will take one of my old t-shirts and use as an apron. Maybe I'll run it on hot in the washer/dryer to shrink it a little first.

The apron is commonly part of the uniform of several work categories, including waitresses, nurses, and domestic workers. Many homemakers also wear them. It is also worn as a decorative garment by women. Aprons are also worn in many commercial establishments to protect workers clothes from damage, mainly bib aprons, but also others such as blacksmith or farrier aprons.
