I have bunches of cards/small items I'd like to display long term in Rykers room. I was thinking of a large shadow box, but the cards fall all behind eachother and you can't see them at all. I want to put our wrist bracelets from the hospital, all his shower cards, birthday/christmas cards as he ages, small cars, post cards he's sent by his traveling great god mother. Just, really, anything you can think of that's tinyish.
I thought I was really smart with the shadow box, but that ended up not working. Any thoughts/ideas?
Um I don't know. How about scanning all the cards and putting them together on one sheet to be the backing paper for the shadow box? You won't see some of them but that's all I can think of! OR just scan, put on one page and frame that. Then shadowbox the small items, bracelets etc?
How much space do you have to dedicate to this? If you can use a whole wall, you could put rows of strings on the wall and use little clips to hang the cards/small things from. Let me see if I can find a picture of what I'm talking about...
