Bariatric surgery? Yikes. You are brave to want to go under the knife.
I am definitely over my pre-baby weight. Honestly, I don't even weigh myself anymore b/c I don't want to know. But I know since I have a gut now. It;s so hard to lose weight. I want to be good during the holidays.
DH went on a medically supervised 800 calorie a day diet, so I don't really have any snacks or quick foods anymore. I've been only making little meals for me and Ellie which has resulted in me losing weight too. I'm 5 pounds below where I was when I got pregnant with Ellie, and 25 pounds less than when DH and I got married, but I imagine I'm definitely going to gain over the holidays. I'm a big stress eater and I've been crazy stressed about work lately. So much so that I've been dreaming about smoking a cigarette, and I only smoke a couple times a year.
I'm doing really well at controlling my weight gain for this pregnancy. I stayed on the lower end with my daughter, too. Weight is less of an issue than fitness for me and my husband right now. Weight is pretty stable, but we're just not in shape. After the baby is born, the whole family is going to work, lol.
