Another year, and I'm again trying to come with ideas for LO- since her sister has a huge pile of hand-me-down toys to give her! I did see the new Furbys, which is a strong contender at this point, but they say ages 6 and up!
I got some farm animals, a Thomas the Train set, a new book and some cars for Sophia. I would love to get her a wooden sled, too, but they are $$$. I think I will get her a plastic tube for the snow instead.
honestly, Maggie's getting some dress up stuff, and her first remote control helicopter. But everything she's gotten so far seems so small. Last night I got a bad case of the mommy/santa guilts when I realized that anything she's gotten that's big has come from Grandma's and Grandpa's.
So DH and I decided last night that Santa would bring her an easel for Christmas this year.

So far we've gotten her a giant pillow pet, an art desk, and some puppets. We kinda went nuts for her birthday this year, so we'll see what else we end up getting her and what the grandparents are planning. I'd like to get her some more books probably.
