Do you currently have snow outside your house?

We don't and it STINKS! We got what amounted to a dusting a few days ago, but it's gone now. Even though we live in the Midwest, Betsy has no idea what snow really looks like -- we didn't get much last year and she wouldn't remember it if we did anyway.

We have about 9 inches outside. I'm totally over it. We usually have this much but we didn't get much at all last year with the warm winter. 2012 in Detroit was the warmest year on record. You and Betsy can come here and play in the yard. Just don't lose her in the snow =)

Now I am not a fan of snow sticking around forever and dealing with gross slushy roads, but this lack of snow is annoying too. I guess the Blizzard of 2011 was our "prepayment" of snow since last winter and this winter we've had nothin'! The boys are desperate for snow!

We have about 4-6 inches. Back at my parents house they had about 6 when I left. Max loves it! Hopefully you get some soon, Amy and Kris!

Well here in Tx it would be weird if he had snow LOL. we actually got a nice little one on Christmas (so not the norm, especially considering like 4 days prior had been in the 80's)

Kris, I can tell you exactly which day we can anticipate snow -- Monday, January 7. Because it didn't snow the ENTIRE WINTER BREAK but it will most definitely snow the first day I have to drive up to school. Mark my words -- we'll get some next week for sure!

We have so much snow, it is CRAZY!! On Dec 27th, we had a single day record breaking snowfall. It went up to my butt by the end of the day and the mountains of snow after our neighbourgood clean up were almost over my head. Milan is having a blast, we have been out every day. Even took the baby for a sleigh ride yesterday.
I hope you get some snow soon!

I was thinking of you up in QC with all the snow you were getting!

We have a very small amount too. It is so annoying as we normally get a tonne! We don't even have enough to go out on the boys new sleds. We got a really big dump the beginning of December, but then some super warm weather and a lot of rain. Since then we've only had a dusting here and there. I hope we get some - 3 more months of cold weather and no snow is going to make for a long winter.
