I know we've talked about this before...but how are your Jan kiddos doing with dressing themselves these days?

So this morning after Grace's bath, I asked her if she would go get some panties & pick out some clothes, totally expecting that I would help her get dressed. When she came back, she had picked out and put on all of her own clothes...panties, socks, pants, & shirt, and then jacket, hat, scarf and gloves (even though it's probably 65 degrees outside LOL)! Big girl!

I am usually in such a hurry to get him dressed, I never give him the opportunity to get himself dressed. I don't think he could do it though, just cause he's never tried.

I'm usually in a hurry, too. Some days he insists on putting his clothes on himself, but he's never picked out a full outfit. He can't reach the drawer with the socks and underwear.

I've never given Eli the opportunity. I'm pretty sure he couldn't do it because he's never tried.

But we're usually in a hurry too and I get her dressed most of the time.

It's easier to do it myself. I'll try tomorrow though! They probably will just stay naked if they had the choice!

I've never tried letting him but sometimes I do things half way to get him to finish.
Like, I would put his t-shirt only through the head and let him put the arms in by himself. Or put the legs of the pants and let him standing with his pants down for him to pull them up.

He can undress himself though. I usually pretend I can't unzip him because its stuck and he feels so proud that he can do what mommy can't, lol

He has ZERO interest!!! He can undress, but could care less about dressing himself.

He does his own underwear, and sometimes he'll put his own pants on. I've never tried to have him put his own shirt on, I'll see how he does tonight with his pajamas. We tried socks the other day and he couldn't get them on right..
