We have on a white wall magic eraser works great but not so good of an idea on a coloured wall as it removes the colour. So if a coloured wall baby oil for sure. Both boys have used our walls for art and our upstairs couch Windex has saved that and putting the cushion covers directly in the wash.
My 5 year old takes pens, crayons, pencils..anything he can get and writes MOM with a heart on all our walls..I currently have it in Sharpie in my bathroom..frustrating but at the same time how do you get mad at that!?
Addison somehow got nail polish & painted my cabinets with it while I was taking a shower today!

trey likes to color on doors. I'm not sure why he prefers that over walls, but he does the same thing with stickers. His bedroom door and his bathroom door are covered in stickers. I basically just let him do it, now, but tell him he BETTER NOT put stickers on any other surface in the house. It's worked, so far.
All Eli's colours are washable and he's only allowed to use them in the kitchen where the paint is the washable type so I just use a damp cloth to take it off.
DH is painting that wall tomorrow, ugh! He did it on non-washable paint and NOTHING is getting it off. We were sooo not thinking when we built this house.....it's all washable paint when we paint from here on out..........
