Would you take your child to his/her wellness appt if s/he was ill?

I did! I wasn't there for the illness so I didn't even mention it. She was having drainage from one of her ears so the Dr offered to call in some drops and I said ok.

Looks like Jude might be headed toward croup AGAIN----he just had it Dec 31. Sheesh. and his wellness appt is Monday. We pay nothing for wellness appts, but he have to pay for sick visits.....so....I.....was....thinking............

Looks like it's true if you had RSV as a baby you are more likely to have respiratory problems. Sheesh, Jude has had croup at least 5x (after getting RSV at 7 weeks old) and my other two have never had RSV or croup.

Audrey had croup 5 times in 2011. It was ridiculous...decadron...decadron....decadron. After we took her tonsils and adenoids out she's been great. But anywho...I would just take him and totally act dumb. "Oh, it's just a little sniffle/cough." "It sounds like croup?" "Wow! Should we do something about that?"

I would too. The appt is already scheduled so it seems silly to cancel.

I would keep the appointment too. Especially since he doesn't need shots, there's no reason why they can't do the well appointment and the sick combined.
