Random question of the day.....

So you know how when dogs are sleeping and their paws are moving like they are dreaming of running thru a wide open field after a ball or chasing a cat or you know, other dog type things......well, Audrey totally does the same thing! I have noticed it before but tonight she's sleeping with me and I sat here and watched her for awhile. Her little feet and toes start moving and her hands start moving around. I have never noticed the other kids doing this so I'm curious....

When your LO is sleeping, do they look like they are dreaming of running around and playing?

Good question...I have no idea! I am rarely in the same room with her when she's sleeping. I do know that she sometimes talks in her sleep, though.

That is funny. Major sleeps/has slept with us a lot and I've never seen that happen. He just talks a lot in his sleep. The other night he actually let out this shriek. I have no clue how he didn't wake himself up.

Addison has done it once while it bed w/ us. She climbs in bed with us every night around 3-4 am & almost every night in her sleep she slaps me in the face..no idea why but she'll sit up a bit, slap me & lay back down & she's completely asleep the whole time.

I've never really slept in the same room as really beyond a few weeks so I wouldn't know. Daryn slept with me until she was 4 and I don't remember anything like that but she did go on one heck of journey every night. From top to bottom, lengthwise, crosswise, rotating clockwise and counter clockwise. It was very hard to get any sleep with her!

J kicks and makes sudden jerky movements when she's dreaming. It doesn't wake her though.

Lily talks in her sleep. Granny used to do the running and hand reaching stuff.

I imagined it to be more trashing than that. Major may do that... I'm not sure.

I was watching Madison sleep yesterday and she was doing the same thing and she moved her hands too. I've never noticed it before.
