I shouldn't spend any money today. My kids have piggy banks, not savings accounts.

What did you/will you spend money on today? I need to get gas, pay the preschool bill and I think that's it

Does your toddler have a savings account? All of the kids have a savings. Right now, it's joint for them, and we have a spreadsheet showing who has what amount in it. As they get older and the $ increases, we'll split them so each has their own account

Had to pay for daycare today.

Yes, she has a savings account. By the time she goes to college, it might be enough to pay for one whole class!

I wrote a cheque today for daycare, but didn't actually spend any money!

Both boys have a bunch of savings bonds and piggy banks, but no savings accounts yet.

Didn't spend money today - Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!!! Oh wait I have to stop on the way home from work (yes still working at 9:30pm) and get milk... So I will buy milk.

They do not have savings accounts - I have a check for Emmie from her b-day that I really need to set up her account with... Will work on that hopefully next week.

Money wise we drove to town, bought gas, bought groceries, bought lunch out. Poof that was a fast $560.

They have piggy banks but Tyler stole all their money.

What did you/will you spend money on today? Gas, groceries, and a Target run for valentines that also turned into jeans

Does your toddler have a savings account? No, but we were just talking about this last night. Whenever Sam has gotten money, D has let her use it to pick out a gift. I said I'd like to open savings accounts and start putting most gift money into that. Not necessarily as a college fund, but because they don't need toys now. If we put little bits of money away for them, they'll have it accumulated when they get a little older and decide they want something REALLY cool! My parents did that for me, and I ended up buying an American Girl doll when I was 8. Not a ton of money, but it was just nice to be able to get something really special that I had forever (I still have her) instead of lots of little toys that will be forgotten quickly over the years.

Nothing.

No accounts, but it would be wise.
