Did your babies love it? Hate it? Did you use any kind of special swaddling blankets?

This was the best swaddler for us. I always felt guilty swaddling Bella where she wouldn't be able to move her arms. Silly I know...
But this mimic the womb so they can still move.
The Woombie is the safest, most natural way to swaddle your baby.

I bought a Woombie toward the end of our swaddling days, and loved it! I can't find it now, though. I had no idea they made such cute ones...mine was just pink, I think. Aaaand...it looks like right now their clearance Woombies are buy one get one free (same style).

We swaddled Grace for a long time. At first we just used receiving blankets, and then I bought some of the velcro-type swaddle blankets, which we used for a long time. And then the Woombie for a while.

i bought a "swaddle me" for Trey. We swaddled him for the longest time, and i was so scared to stop when he got too big for it. i thought for sure he wouldnt be able to sleep...but as soon as i stopped, he started sleeping on his belly so it was no problem.

I loved his swaddle me and always meant to get one for Olivia...but then i saw Woombies on sale & my mom ordered me one. BUT she bough a premie size or something tiny, for some reason..and it was way too small. so we returned it and i just never got anything to replace it. I just used blankets, but by the time she woke up, she had always broke free. eventually i just stopped using anything.

Eli loved it. I used large linen wraps and swaddlemes. I think Daryn would have liked it more if I had similar ones for her but unfortunately I only had standard receiving blankets which she was able to wriggle out of. I never felt bad swaddling my kids because they always slept better swaddled.

SwaddleMe...yes, that's the name. Could NOT think of that earlier. I never felt bad about it, either, because she slept so well in them. I don't remember how long we swaddled, but it was several months. I remember my sister said she swaddled my niece until she was a year old.

Connor was swaddled until like 8 months I think. It seemed to help him sleep better. We just used a big blanket that was straight on one edge.

Izzy HATED it...and I always think it would have helped her sleep better, but it made her frantic.

Malachi hated it at first, but then accepted it around 8 weeks old and it helped him sleep 6-7 hour stretches. Despite the swaddle, the last 2 weeks, he's back to waking every 3-4 hours. I haven't swaddled him the last 2 nights, so I'm not sure if I'll start again. He'll be 4 months old tomorrow.

I really want to try the new ergo swaddle called the cocoon. Apparently it helps the transition because you can let one or both arms free eventually.

Addison loved to be swaddled..We used the swaddle me blankets, we had the fleece ones & the thin ones. I already bought a swaddled me for this baby, but I want to get a woombie too.

My boys hated being swaddled! They wouldn't sleep at all if they were swaddled and the only way they'd sleep more than an hour is if they were on their tummies.

I swaddled J till about 6 or 7 months? I used regular receiving blankets. It was reassuring for me because she wouldn't move or wiggle and risk being turned. I was/am terrified of SIDS. But she was a kicker and some nights managed to get her feet out. I'm looking into getting a Swaddle Me or Woombie this time...worth a try!

I swaddled both girls. I used receiving blankets mostly and then the swaddle-me. I also loved the muslin blankets anais or something.
