Chaser and I are snuggling watching Dora. I should really be cleaning. But I can't turn down a request to snuggle

I'm exhausted today. DH and the dog have developed a synchronized snoring routine and I'm not getting any sleep!

I had every flu symptom there could be yesterday....and it lasted like 12 hours? I woke up feeling normal....um, that's sooo odd, but I'll take it.

Jude had his swimming lesson this morning. Right before his teacher came to get him, I start to take Jude's shirt off and he was appalled that I was going to leave his shirt off. I asked him why he was so bothered and he said, "I don't want THESE to show!" ....and he was pointing to his nipples!!!! He spent the first 10 minutes of class with his hands cupped over his chest. I couldn't stop laughing. I tried to get a picture, but his back was to me that entire time.

LOL Nicole! And good for you, Liz!

So Grace has never really been a climber...fine by me. But just this week she has figured out that she can drag a stool over to something and climb up to get what she wants, turn on the lights, etc. Here we go! And also new: she now will get out of bed in the morning without one of us going in to get her. For nearly a year she's been in her toddler bed, and she would yell for one of us to come get her when she woke up. No longer. Luckily she has been coming straight to our room when she wakes up. But...the getting out of bed in the morning on her own, combined with the climbing, makes me nervous, especially since DH is a heavy sleeper, and I'm usually gone when Grace wakes up.

Lol!! Love this!!

Has anyone ever DIED from lack of sleep? Because that's seriously how I feel right now...like I'm going to die if I don't get done sleep. So frustrating.

LOL at Jude.

I'm seriously annoyed by family drama, and I'm getting more annoyed as I keep thinking about it.

Karen----I feel your pain
Brady was the WORST SLEEPER EVER as an infant. I can remember crying at work because I was so tired. It was h.e.l.l

Chase fell out of the truck this morning. OMG. I was mad at him. Mad at myself. Ugh. He was insisting on opening the door on his own and somehow fell face first out of the door. It's a Tall truck too. Running boards and all. Ugh. He's fine but that could have been BAD. I need a restart to the day

Oh no! Yeah, Grace is more and more insistent these days about doing everything on her own, and there've been times where I thought she was going to fall out of the car/truck because she insisted on doing it herself. Ugh. Glad he's ok, though.

This day sucks. Chase threw a car at the baby and it totally left a mark---it swelled up & almost looks like a puncture. Above her ear & back a bit. OMG. the universe does not like me today. He was all "it was a SMALL car". Ahhhhhhhh. I am dreading telling her mom.

The mom was totally fine and cool. Whew! The bump looked way better after she woke up from her nap. I feel much better.

The next thing I'm dreading....tonight Brady has a basketball game at 6. Nathan has a music program at a different school at 7, has to be there at 630. DH took Brady & is going to leave a little early to come to the program. Which leaves me taking Chase 30 min early to the program alone to save 4-5 seats. Never going to happen. He's going to want to run around the whole time while we are waiting. Ugh. He's SO ready for bed & it isn't even 6pm. It will all be over by 730. I just need to get through the next 1.5 hours. It's all petty I know but just adds to the day.

oh karen -- lack of sleep is a form of torture, you know. although i don't get up with a baby, i have been getting by on very little sleep and even worse, very little consecutive sleep hours. i am awake, for one reason or another, almost every hour or so. that is killer. in fact, DH and i are trying an experiment with him sleeping in the guest room for a few days so i can see if its him waking me or if its my insomnia again in full force. frankly, i think its him and our dog. but i miss him....
